1. Definitions
We do not use difficult words such as grandiloquent, floccinaucinihilipilification, and pulchritudinous. There is only one definition that matters to us:
1. Customer. King.

2. Applicability
These conditions are applicable when you buy or have bought something from us. If not, they are not that applicable. We want to make sure you have seen these terms and conditions. They tell you what we do for you and what you can expect from us. Separate conditions can sometimes apply to a product. In this case, these terms and conditions apply as well as the separate ones.

3. The offer
We always tell you what, when, and how, you can buy something. And how much it costs and if you can exchange it. Did you spot a mistake on the product page? You can hold us to it. Except if it is clearly caused by someone who did not have their coffee yet and accidentally missed a few zeros (imagine that!), which you could have known beforehand.

4. The agreement
1. Safety first. That’s why we work on a safe online environment, every day. Helps you to blissfully browse for vacuum cleaners, whenever you want.
2. If you order something with us, you will receive a confirmation of your order by email. We will keep you posted afterwards, until you have received your package. It is your stuff, in the end.
3. We add all the informations and details you need to your order, but you will find most of it on our website as well. Lost your receipt? No worries. You can find the digital version on your account.

5. Right of withdrawal
1. Sometimes, you and your product simply will not see eye to eye. In this case, you can send the product back within 30 days after receipt. Otherwise neither of you will be happy. We will send you a new product or you will receive your payment back within 3 days.
2. We accept ‘just because’ as a reason too.

6. What we expect from you during the cooling off period
Unbox your purchase the way that suits you and examine the product from all sides. Not happy with what you see? Then do not use it for cooking, swimming, skydiving, or something else you would not want someone to have done with it before you purchased it. Because if you do, you will probably receive less money back for the product.

7. What you can expect from us after returning a purchase
Did you indicate that you would like to return your order, within 30 days? We will do the following:
1. we will send you a confirmation of your request;
2. we will send you a new product or you will receive your payment back within 3 days.

8. Shipping costs in case of returns
Do not be silly. Of course there are none.

9. What you cannot return
You probably understand that you cannot return the following:
1. Software packages of which the seals are broken or the package has been opened.
2. Redeemed or filled in vouchers. Trust us, we also wish we could spend money more than once. 3. Well conducted services, such as installation and build-in costs, redeemed vouchers for build-in and/or installation, and the costs for special shipping options and orders delivered by appointment.

10. The price
1. We are always honest about the prices, so you will not run into any unpleasant surprises.
2. The prices in our webshop and our stores are always the same. Consistency is key.
3. All prices are including VAT.
4. Regular shipping is always free. Both ways.
5. Did you choose delivery by appointment? In that case, you will pay between € 10 and € 40 in shipping costs, depending on the time slot and the size of your product.

11. Keeping promises and warranty
1. We do what we promise, and we are always honest.
2. You have the right to receive a good product. Period. Is something wrong with the product? We will solve this for you, of course. We will always comply with the law. If we do not think the law covers enough, we will extend the warranty. We will always mention that on the product page.

12. Delivery and processing
1. We do anything, and we do mean anything, to make you happy. We are a little obsessed with it, to be honest.
2. If you order something before 23:59, your purchase will arrive at your home the very next day. Unless we agreed otherwise. Is it unexpectedly taking longer than we promised? We will let you know as soon as possible. If you no longer want the product, we will make sure we deposit your payment as soon as possible, and within 14 days, at the latest.
3. In essence, the following applies: if you can order it on the website, we have it in stock. Turns out we cannot deliver it? Then you receive your money back, or we offer you a decent alternative. You can always exchange a replacement product, of course.
4. It is our fault if your order is damaged or lost before it reached you. We will solve it for you as soon as possible.

13. Payment
1. If we ask you to pay an amount in advance, we will get your order ready as soon as we have received the amount.
2. Is your payment information wrong? Please let us know.

14. Complaints
1. Do you have a complaint? That makes us sad. So sad, that we have several ‘help the customer’ emergency plans ready just for this scenario. This is how we know we can solve this for you as soon as possible.
2. Let us know as soon as possible when you have a complaint, and describe your problem as clearly as possible. This way, we can help you in the best way possible.
3. You will receive an answer from us within 2 working days, at the latest. We will help you immediately, or you will hear how much time we will need to fix things for you.

15. Last but not least...
These were our general terms and conditions. If we are going to change anything about these terms and conditions in the future, you will be able to see this on our website. We will definitely make sure that the changes will not be to your disadvantage.

Moktar Anand, CEO of the hot topic high pace online shopping platform VIPER, hinted that the firm is thinking about to break into the public market by launching an initial public offering (IPO) in the near future.

However, the company does not represent a united front. VIPER’s CFO Lisa Williams takes the opposite stance compare to Anand: “Going public is a huge risk. A benefit of staying private is that you don’t subject your company to that risk. If you are in a position where you’re so successful that going public is even a consideration, you might actually be better off leaving things as they are.”

Many executives are also not eager for the scrutiny – including swarms of analysts, government regulation and constant coverage in news media – that comes with becoming a public company. “Your life going forward is lived under a microscope,” Williams continued.

Nevertheless, majority of VIPER’s shareholding are willing and stand behind Anand targeting the firm to go public in 20XX+4.

Rotterdam, XX-9-20XX

Scale up logistics company Viper has opened their humanless warehouse in Q3 of 20XX. The logistics firm runs warehouses and works with delivery companies to get packages to customers. It says it uses technology to make the process more efficient and its publicly stated goal is to eventually deliver to anyone in the Netherlands within 6 hours and internationally in 72 hours.

The company officially opened a warehouse in Bergen op Zoom, which employs so-called automated guided vehicles. Those are robots that can automatically pick up a parcel and deliver them to another part of the warehouse where it is then picked up by a delivery firm. Moktar Anand (CEO of Viper) expects significant time savings.

Anand in our interview: “I am very proud that we are able to realize this project already in our Scale Up phase. We want to grow within in The Netherlands, and also in other countries. This is a first step in realizing more efficient warehousing”

“Our focus right now is to try to build the overall infrastructure for logistics ready for the future and so this is our key focus. We actually are working using the technology to build a better logistic infrastructure and to ensure a better customer experience.”

In recent years, companies across a variety of industries have shown an increased interest in learning about exploring lean strategies for organizational management. Kanban, a method for project management where a kanban board is used to visualize work and optimize the flow of the work among the team, has been growing in popularity.

VIPER, a high tech and highly service oriented online shopping platform, has also recently decided to implement Kanban as their workflow management tool.

Actually, the entire company was trained on how to use Kanban. Furthermore, three of the key team leaders attended Kanban training led by David Anderson. The new way of working helped the company to identify bottlenecks and prioritize work in a better way. As the CEO of VIPER, Moktar Anand, states “Work progressed well, productivity goals were reached, and capacity planning became really easy and visible”. In fact, thanks to the use of Kanban, VIPER managed to increase their overall performance and optimize resources.
